Taylor started her career with YouTube, at first making ASMR videos using her smartphone. Shortly after hitting 50,000 subscribers within a month of uploading her first video, she was featured in a video about gaming created by PewDiePie. Taylor quit working for her Youtube channel two months later. There were close to 100,000 subscribers. It was due to technical issues and the fact she felt overwhelmed. After a month long break and a few months of making new videos, she started and uploaded videos again, among them the well-known ASMR 10 Triggers to Help You Sleep (35 million views by the month of August, 2022). ASMR 20, Triggers for Sleeping was released in July of 2017 and was seen by 38 million viewers. In August of 2017, she was interviewed in Shane Dawson's video, and soon afterward, hit a million YouTube users. In February 2019, Wired UK estimated that she was earning $1,000 per day from advertising revenue through her YouTube channel
Dennis Helfer (born in Donalda, Alberta) and Elaine Helfer (born in Donalda, Alberta), were his parents. The couple is born to German as well as English heritage. She was a student at William E. Hay Composite High School in Stettler, Alberta. Three sisters she shared with lived on their family's farm of wheat. When she was waiting in line at a theatre the scout of a modelling agency noticed Helfer.
